Ingrid  is from Caracas, Venezuela. She moved to Pittsburgh from her  home country in 2021. She is an engineer by training, but since moving to the USA, she has been exploring other career areas, such as working with the Latino community. When I arrived in Pittsburgh, I met Casa San Jose by enrolling my kids in their Summer Camp. I got to volunteer in the summer camp and also had the opportunity to meet Casa San Jose's staff. While volunteering with Casa, I saw firsthand their love and passion for helping the Latino community. Their commitment to supporting the Latino community inspires me to work with them. Through my job, I can continue to support and contribute to the Latino community's growth. Apart from working, I like to spend time with my kids and family. I am also passionate about sports and like running and hiking. When I am not outside, I like to read.
