Biography
Originally from Cd. Juarez, Mexico, Gabriela holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. As the Programs Coordinator at Casa San Jose, she supports the Executive Director and Deputy Director ofPrograms and Social Services with overseeing program development, logistics, and evaluation. Driven by a passion to empower underserved communities, Gabriela is dedicated to improving the lives of immigrants and Latinos. Inspired by remarkable women like Frida Kahlo, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Gloria Steinem, Maya Angelou, Justice Sonia Sotomayor – among others, she is committed to making a positive impact. Outside of work, Gabriela enjoys spending time with family, friends , her loving dogs, Daria and Duncan. With a deep sense of service and advocacy, she is honored to contribute to Casa San Jose's mission of positive change.
