Biography

Coming to Pittsburgh in 2005 from his native country Argentina, Sebastian brings both his organizational expertise and deep care for protecting human rights and building community to Casa San José. During his time in Pittsburgh, Sebastian has been an active member of the local LGBTQ community, volunteering at the PGH Equality Center where he helped implement the library system at the country’s largest LGBTQ library, the Jim Ficherkeller Library. Sebastian also helped LGBTQ elders with technology, emergency planning services, and organization of both finances and files. After receiving a degree at CCAC in information technology and psychology/sociology, Sebastian joined Casa San José as Human Resources and Operations Manager. Currently he monitors workflows for efficiency, estimates budget models, and implements policies and procedures. Sebastian is happy to assist the Latino community of Pittsburgh, both within his technical role and as a community member.
